Day 01 Arrival Delhi (Late night arrival)

Upon arrival at Delhi International airport, assisted transfer to hotel for check in & overnight stay.

Day 02 Delhi

Post breakfast we start our Delhi sightseeing. In the sightseeing we visit some of the important cultural & historical symbols of India including Red Fort, Qutab Minar & Humayun’s Tomb. We drive past the impressing India Gate, Parliament house and President’s Palace. At greater ease, we visit Raj Ghat, the memorial built in honor of Mahatma Gandhi, father of the nation for India. As one of the cultural highlights, we visit Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, a Sikh temple to learn about the youngest religion of the world. In the evening we visit Lotus temple, the house of worship for Bahai religion.

Day 03 Amritsar (Flight/train)

Early morning transfer to airport/railway station for flight/train to Amritsar. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel for check in and rest.

Afternoon city sightseeing of Amritsar including Golden Temple, Akal Takth & Jallianwala Bagh.

Evening visit Wagha border to witness flag closing ceremony (beating retreat)

Day 04 Return to Delhi and drive to Samode

Breakfast is at hotel and transfer to airport/railway station for flight/train to Delhi. Arrival Delhi and vehicle transfer to Samode Palace hotel for check in and overnight

Evening is free at leisure.

Day 05 Jaipur

In the morning, optional Camel safari in the village of Samode & observe daily lifestyle of local villagers & local markets.

Afternoon transfer to Jaipur (40 km/01 hr drive) for check in at hotel and relax.

Evening Rickshaw ride in the colorful heritage markets of Pink City, Jaipur.

Day 06 Jaipur

Breakfast and full day sightseeing of Jaipur including Elephant ride at Amber Fort, the City Palace that combines elements of Rajput finesse, Mughal spaciousness and English linear planning. The Palace displays a opulent museum of Textile, arms and armaments and also an Art gallery. We visit, Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory built by Sawai Jai Singh II, was quite modern for its times. Here the maharaja used to read skies, stars and forecast about the rainfall. We also visit Hawa Mahal, the most recognizable monument in Rajasthan, the Palace of Winds, was built in 1799 by Maharaja Pratap Singh. It was used as a place for the queens to observe the markets below, away from the public eye.

Day 07: Agra

After breakfast we depart for Agra (270 km/05 hrs drive). En route, we visit Fatehpur Sikri, the abandoned capital of the Mogul empire. Now a World Heritage site, it houses some beautiful palaces, a mosque and the biggest arched gate.  Evening arrival in Agra and check in at hotel for night stay

Optional sunset visit to Taj Mahal, a symbol of eternal love.

Day 08: Flight Departure (Delhi airport)

Early morning visit to Taj Mahal, the most well known symbol of India’s historical heritage during sunrise and Red Fort, the best example of Mogul architecture.

At noon transfer to Delhi international airport for flight back home.
